The following is an edited excerpt from this author’s first book of Truth.

The FULL Truth of Abraham

Abraham was not the forefather of the Hebrews (meaning Jews and Christians):  he was the forefather of nearly all of mankind!

(This truth just happens to include Jews and Christians.)

Jews and Christians, you might not like what you read here, but you must accept it because it comes entirely from the Bible!

In the Bible, we learn of Abraham and his life.  Abraham’s wife, Sarah, could not conceive so Abraham had a child by Sarah’s handmaid.  Abraham’s first son was Ishmael (meaning “God will hear”).  Ishmael became the founder of the Arab nations.  Soon after the handmaid conceived, Sarah became very jealous and was harsh with her handmaid.  So the handmaid ran away and an angel found her.

Genesis 16:7  And the angel of the LORD found her by a fountain of water in the wilderness, by the fountain in the way to Shur.

Genesis 16:8  And he said, Hagar, Sarai’s maid, whence camest thou?  and whither wilt thou go?  And she said, I flee from the face of my mistress Sarai.

Genesis 16:9  And the angel of the LORD said unto her, Return to thy mistress, and submit thyself under her hands.

(Obviously, God had plans for Hagar and her baby:  and most likely, by way of Abraham.)

Genesis 16:10  And the angel of the LORD said unto her, I will multiply thy seed exceedingly, that it shall not be numbered for multitude.

(You just read one of God’s promises to the Arabs, Persians, and/or the Muslims!  And you read it in the Bible!)

Genesis 16:11  And the angel of the LORD said unto her, Behold, thou art with child and shalt bear a son, and shalt call his name Ishmael; because the LORD hath heard thy affliction.

(Where is there a person, NAMED BY GOD, anywhere in the Bible, that was not later, greatly blessed by God?)

(This author asks again . . . ANYWHERE IN THE BIBLE?)

Genesis 16:12  And he will be a wild man; his hand will be against every man, and every man’s hand against him; and he shall dwell in the presence of all his brethren.

SIDE NOTE BY jpw:

Study this verse 16:12 carefully!  See how well this verse describes the current condition of our world in precise detail.  Given this . . . GIVEN THIS!  Now study this verse 16:12, even more intently, and see how God gives HIS “prescribed solution” to mankind regarding the current condition of our world today.  Anytime mankind disregards God’s advice, then mankind will always face the consequences.

You shall soon learn, below, that Ishmael will beget twelve princes in that region.  This will include all Arabs, Persians, and the rest of Asia Minor.  As a general rule-of-thumb for this big world today, nearly every Muslim understands how they are descended from Ishmael, the first son of Abraham.

Ishmael’s brother was Isaac, the second son of Abraham.  The Bible teaches how Isaac became the forefather of the twelve tribes of Israel.  (Israel was Jacob, the son of Isaac.)  What most folks today fail to realize that the twelve tribes of Israel eventually became all Jews and Christians of today:  generally speaking.  This author has only given brief proofs of this, here on this website because there are extensive (and better) proofs of this elsewhere in this world.

(This author shall not add any further advice toward the problems which this world faces today.  Because in Genesis 16:12, above and below, God has exactly described the problem that this world faces today:  and God has exactly described mankind’s easy solution to this problem today.  And do understand, that no leader, nor any nation of people, have ever defeated the Truth and especially the Will of God, here on this Earth.  But a very few wise leaders, and wise nations of people, have learned to work, and remain, within God’s Truths and Wisdom, by following and staying within the limits of God’s Word that was sent down to this world.  Abraham did this.  David did this.  Job did this to some degree.  Paul learned how to do this.)

So please, once again, consider God’s Word greatly!  And pay attention to every   single   word!  For God, personally spoke these words, to Moses, in the desert, about 3,500 years ago!  And Moses recorded God’s Word perfectly.

Genesis 16:12  And he will be a wild man; his hand will be against every man, and every man’s hand against him; and he shall dwell in the presence of all his brethren.

Later, after Sarah conceived, in her old age, she had the handmaid and Ishmael cast out to the wilderness.  Ishmael was about sixteen years old when they were cast out.

Genesis 21:14  And Abraham rose up early in the morning, and took bread, and a bottle of water, and gave it unto Hagar, putting it on her shoulder, and the child, and sent her away:  and she departed, and wandered in the wilderness of Beersheba.

Genesis 21:15  And the water was spent in the bottle, and she cast the child under one of the shrubs.

Genesis 21:16  And she went, and sat her down over against him a good way off, as it were a bow shot:  for she said, Let me not see the death of the child.  And she sat over against him, and lift up her voice, and wept.

Genesis 21:17  And God heard the voice of the lad; and the angel of God called to Hagar out of heaven, and said unto her, What aileth thee, Hagar?  Fear not; for God hath heard the voice of the lad where he is.

Genesis 21:18  Arise, lift up the lad, and hold him in thine hand; for I will make him a great nation.

(You just read yet another promise, by God, to the Arabs, Persians, and/or the Muslims!  And you read it in the Bible!)

Genesis 21:19  And God opened her eyes, and she saw a well of water; and she went, and filled the bottle with water, and gave the lad drink.

Genesis 21:20  And God was with the lad; and he grew, and dwelt in the wilderness, and became an archer.

This is where the Hebrew story of Ishmael ends (or so many believe). The truth of the matter is that Ishmael stayed very close to Abraham for his entire life. Abraham loved his eldest son very much and taught Ishmael to be a righteous man. How do we know this?

Genesis 17:15  And God said unto Abraham, As for Sarai thy wife, thou shalt not call her name Sarai, but Sarah shall her name be.

Genesis 17:16  And I will bless her, and give thee a son also of her:  yea, I will bless her, and she shall be a mother of nations; kings of people shall be of her.

Genesis 17:17  Then Abraham fell upon his face, and laughed, and said in his heart, Shall a child be born unto him that is an hundred years old?  and shall Sarah, that is ninety years old, bear?

Genesis 17:18  And Abraham said unto God, O that Ishmael might live before thee!

Genesis 17:19  And God said, Sarah thy wife shall bear thee a son indeed; and thou shalt call his name Isaac:  and I will establish my covenant with him for an everlasting covenant, and with his seed after him.

God even speaks of this covenant in the Qur’an:

The Qur’an 2:63  Remember (Children of Israel) when We made a covenant with you and made the mountain stand high above you?  We said, “Hold fast to what We have given you and remember (the covenant), so that you may keep evil from your lives.”

(God has many messages for the Tribes of Israel in the Qur’an.  A GREAT MANY!)

Genesis 17:20  And as for Ishmael, I have heard thee:  Behold, I have blessed him, and will make him fruitful, and will multiply him exceedingly; twelve princes shall he beget, and I will make him a great nation.

(Now, you have read, yet a third promise, by God, to the Arabs, Persians, and/or the Muslims!  And you read it in the Bible!)

SIDE NOTE FOR TODAY’S WORLD:

Do not . . . for a moment . . . think that the descendants of Ishmael are NOT a force to be reckoned with in this world!  Do not, for a moment, think that the millions of innocent Muslim believers, in this world, are NOT protected by God, via His promises made in the Bible Scriptures above!  (And His promises made in the Qur’an:  which was sent down to them through the Angel named Gabriel!)

In His Bible, God gave Moses prescribed (and lawful) means of dealing with those Hebrews who broke God’s Laws upon this Earth:  the punishment prescribed by God was quite harsh!  Is it not surprising that God also gave the Muslims prescribed (and lawful) means of dealing with those descendants of Ishmael who break God’s Laws as sent down in His book called the Qur’an?  And yes, the punishment prescribed by God, in His Qur’an is equally as harsh as His Torah.  The Qur’an does not limit these prescribed (and lawful) means to Muslims only!  The Qur’an never, once, prohibits non-Muslims from ENFORCING God’s Laws as detailed in the Qur’an.  Indeed, the Qur’an (in Surah 46:10) allows this Christian author to reveal these truths of our LORD’S Qur’an to this world:  especially when the Muslims fail to do so, themselves!

*************************************************

(Twelve Tribes of Israel . . . twelve Princes of Ishmael.  The Bible is mankind’s story of Abraham, through Isaac.  The Qur’an is mankind’s story of Abraham, through Ishmael.  God just said Ishmael was to be a major people upon this earth and was to have great blessings by God.  The Bible says this!)

Genesis 17:21  But my covenant will I establish with Isaac, which Sarah shall bear unto thee at this set time in the next year.

(Do not think that God has no covenant with Ishmael in this world:  this is a very dangerous assumption.  Different peoples; different covenants.)

Genesis 17:22  And he left off talking with him, and God went up from Abraham.

Genesis 17:23  And Abraham took Ishmael his son, and all that were born in his house, and all that were bought with his money, every male among the men of Abraham’s house; and circumcised the flesh of their foreskin in the selfsame day, as God had said unto him.

Genesis 17:24  And Abraham was ninety years old and nine, when he was circumcised in the flesh of his foreskin.

Genesis 17:25  And Ishmael his son was thirteen years old, when he was circumcised in the flesh of his foreskin.

(Jews, and most Christians, believe the circumcision only belongs to them!  Well, the vast majority of Muslim males, today, are indeed circumcised.  And God’s words to Abraham, in His Bible grant a slew of Blessings for those who observe this practice.  Nearly all Muslims, today, observe this practice!)

Later, when God was about to destroy Sodom and Gomorrah, God (Christ) appeared to Abraham and ate with Abraham.  God was about to tell Abraham of how He was going to punish Sodom and Gomorrah.

Genesis 18:17  And the LORD said, Shall I hide from Abraham that thing which I do;

Genesis 18:18  Seeing that Abraham shall surely become a great and mighty nation, and all the nations of the earth shall be blessed in him?

Genesis 18:19  For I know him, that he will command his children and his household after him, and they shall keep the way of the LORD, to do justice and judgement; that the LORD may bring upon Abraham that which he hath spoken of him.

Well, all of this happened before Isaac was ever born!  Abraham was righteous and was raising Ishmael to be righteous.  God just said so in the Bible!  Abraham loved Ishmael and Ishmael loved Abraham for his entire life!

How do we know this?

Genesis 25:8  Then Abraham gave up the ghost, and died in a good old age, an old man, and full of years; and was gathered to his people.

Genesis 25:9  And his sons Isaac and Ishmael buried him in the cave of Machpelah, in the field of Ephron the son of Zohar the Hittite, which is before Mamre;

Ishmael was there to bury his father.  Ishmael was never the rejected son of Abraham:  they loved each other very much.  Abraham loved Ishmael so much that God personally guaranteed that He would watch over Ishmael.

This story is still not finished.  Every Jew and Christian knows how Jacob (or Israel) had twelve sons that became the Tribes of Israel.  So many western children grow up being told this wonderful story about Joseph, Benjamin, and Judah.

Well, the Arabs and Persians have their wonderful story too . . . and it begins in the Bible!  No you say to this?  Is this unacceptable only because nobody ever told you this story?  Well, Israel’s twelve children went on to become the Jews and Christians of this world and scattered over nearly all of the continents.  Ishmael’s twelve children became twelve Princes (meaning nations).

Genesis 25:11  And it came to pass after the death of Abraham, that God blessed his son Isaac; and Isaac dwelt by the well Lahairoi.

Genesis 25:12  Now these are the generations of Ishmael, Abraham’s son, whom Hagar the Egyptian, Sarah’s handmaid, bare unto Abraham:

Genesis 25:13  And these are the names of the sons of Ishmael, by their names, according to their generations:  the firstborn of Ishmael, Nebajoth; and Kedar, and Adbeel, and Mibsam,

Genesis 25:14  And Mishma, and Dumah, and Massa,

Genesis 25:15  Hadar, and Tema, Jetur, Naphish, and Kedemah:

Genesis 25:16  These are the sons of Ishmael, and these are their names, by their towns, and by their castles; twelve princes according to their nations.

From this point forward, the Bible becomes a book strictly about the Hebrews.  The Qur’an picks up where the Bible leaves off.  You can read about the lives and times of Abraham and Ishmael in the Qur’an if you like:  they were VERY close.  Just because something is not mentioned in the Bible does not mean it never happened.  Abraham lived for a very long time because he was loved by God.

The Bible covers only a fraction of Abraham’s adult life.

The Qur’an, if you care to read it, picks up (with the life of Abraham) where the Bible left off.  A great many details of Abraham never before given to this world: a story of God; given to this world!  And oh, what a story it is!  A story for all of mankind.

If you care to read it?  Well, it is only the last known “Word of God” ever sent to this world.  The Word of God?  Yes, that ONE GOD who created ALL OF MANKIND on this little speck we call Earth!  This Word (and the story of God) might just be important to this world.  Especially today!

“Oh no . . . that one Word of God ended with Christ!”

“God was finished with this world when Christ died!”

Really?

Does the Book of Revelation say that God ended HIS ETERNAL TRUTH with His Words from Christ, to the Christians?

Or does the Book of Revelation show that God’s Truth applies to this entire world:  no matter the name of their religion?

Is Christ returning only to the Christians, or is Christ returning to the entire world?

What does the Book of Revelation say about this?

The story of Abraham, in this world, is a story that God wants this entire world to learn.  Abraham is the only person, in history, to be called the Friend of God.  This story only begins in the Bible:  it is concluded in the Qur’an.  Which story is better?  Neither!  Because they are both the story (meaning God’s Truth) of Abraham.

More than this . . . they are both, the story of God!

And God is all that matters, in this world.

We . . . mankind . . . are nothing!
